The Bossier City Phillies are among four semifinalists in the 2025 American Legion World Baseball Series. The game will be on ESPNU tonight.
After three straight days of pool play caused by Thursday’s rainout, the top two finishers in each of the two divisions — the Stars and the Stripes — advanced to Monday’s semifinals.
Bossier City Post 202 (26-4) finished second in the three-way tiebreaker atop the Stripes Division. The Phillies rebounded from an opening loss to Asheville (N.C.) to defeat Greece (N.Y.) and Chesapeake (Va.).

Bossier City head coach Dane Peavy counted on the experience of 10 returning players from last year’s ALWS participant, and it worked with a semifinal appearance.
Bossier City is looking for its first title and Louisiana’s sixth overall.
Tonight, the Phillies will take on League City (TX), which is seeking a second title to go with its 2023 championship.
All games are played at Veterans Field at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, N.C.
