Bossier City area weather forecast for Monday’s eclipse: ‘Low probability of favorable viewing conditions’
The Shreveport National Weather Service is painting a bleak picture for eclipse watchers in the Bossier City area. The latest forecast shows clouds moving in and “impacting eclipse visibility across the region.” In addition, “Multiple rounds of strong, possibly severe, thunderstorms are likely beginning Monday afternoon and continuing through late Wednesday. In addition to the severe weather threat, widespread heavy rainfall will be possible, which may result in a threat for flooding,” the NWS says.
