Bossier City traffic violation leads to meth and stolen firearm arrest
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 6:22 pm, a Bossier Sheriff Joint Criminal Apprehension Team deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Airline Drive for Improper Lane Use and an Improper Turn involving a vehicle bearing a Texas license plate.
During the roadside investigation, a female passenger, later identified as Christina Laroux, exited the vehicle with two used methamphetamine syringes visibly sticking out of her waistband.
This led to a probable cause search of the vehicle by JCAT members.
During the search, a black Smith & Wesson .22 caliber handgun was recovered and later confirmed to have been reported stolen out of Tyler, Texas. Investigators also located a blue bank bag containing four large, individually packaged zip-lock bags of methamphetamine, totaling 8.7 ounces.
