Suspect in Bossier residential burglary caught on camera using stolen checks
BPSO asks for your help to identify the suspect.
A suspect involved in a residential burglary was caught on surveillance video using the victim’s stolen checks at local retailers.
Now those images may lead to the suspect’s capture.
The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office says the residential burglary that occurred on September 20, 2025.
“The incident took place when the suspect pulled into the victim’s driveway and entered the victim’s garage in the Willow Lake Subdivision. Once inside, the suspect gained access to the victim’s vehicle and stole a purse containing blank checks, cash, credit cards, and a driver’s license,” BPSO said in a release.
Following the theft, the suspect reportedly used the victim’s stolen checks to make purchases at multiple retail locations. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a white Chevrolet Cruze with no visible license plate.
Investigators are actively working to identify the suspect and locate the vehicle.
