Public notice: City Council to hold a workshop on public works fees
It seemed that the matter, which raised the ire of apartment owners and managers in Bossier City, was resolved. Apparently not.

Mayor Tommy Chandler said the sanitation fee increase to apartment complexes is "not going away." City Council President Chris Smith told BossierNow, "The property owners should have been paying this fee for years prior." It seemed that the matter, which raised the ire of apartment owners and managers in Bossier City, was resolved.
Apparently not.
The City Council has scheduled a workshop on public works fees at 5:30 pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, at City Council Chambers in Bossier City Hall.
The Chandler administration will present an update on the public works fee increases to apartment complexes in the city, and council members and the mayor will hear comments and answer questions.
The public comment period will allow three minutes per person with a discussion lasting up to 45 minutes.
