Hunt for missing Bossier man expands
The search for a missing Bossier Parish man has expanded. The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office has established a mobile incident command site at the intersection of Old Plain Dealing Road and Dutch John Road in northern Bossier Parish.
It is a part of the ongoing efforts to locate 32-year-old Cable Tallant, who has been missing for several days.
Tallant is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen near Plain Dealing on July 31, 2025. On August 11, 2025, the Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving was found abandoned in a wooded area near Plain Dealing, according to the BPSO.
"A team of Sheriff's Deputies are coordinating resources from the mobile command site to search the surrounding area as thoroughly as possible," said BPSO Lt. Neil Johnston.
Anyone with information about Tallant's whereabouts is urged to contact the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office at (318) 965-2203.

Rascal Flatts sets Bossier City tour date
The legendary country trio Rascal Flatts just can't seem to get off the highway. After a hiatus in touring and a subsequent reunion, the trio will bring its "Life is a Highway" tour to Bossier City's Brookshire Grocery Arena on Friday, February 20, 2026.
Hailed as one of the most influential groups in modern country history, Rascal Flatts first came together in 1999, uniting the talents of cousins Gary LeVox (lead vocals) and Jay DeMarcus (bass, vocals) with guitarist Joe Don Rooney. The trio quickly captivated audiences with their blend of soaring vocal harmonies, infectious melodies, and heartfelt songwriting.
Their self-titled debut in 2000 launched a string of hit singles, including "Bless the Broken Road," "What Hurts the Most," and their iconic cover of Tom Cochrane's "Life Is a Highway," Rascal Flatts became a dominant force on both country and pop charts. Over their career, they've racked up 17 number-one hits, sold over 23.4 million albums, and earned more than 40 prestigious awards.
After initially announcing their farewell tour in 2020, the band is back on the road with renewed passion, celebrating their 25th anniversary and a recent collaborative album, Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets, which features reimagined versions of their classic songs with contemporary artists.
Tickets for the February 20, 2026, concert at the Brookshire Grocery Arena go on sale Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10 am.
