Bossier City Woman Booked on Identity Theft Charges

Bossier City woman arrested on several charges of identity theft.

A Bossier City woman has been arrested by the Louisiana State Police for several charges related to identity theft.

Accused in the scheme is Daphne Daniel, 43, of the 3300 block of East Texas St. in Bossier City.

“Mrs. Daniel was able to obtain the identification of a local lady,” Louisiana State Police Troop G Trooper Brent Hardy tells BossierNow. “After obtaining the identification, she attempted to make several purchases at different department stores in the Shreveport/Bossier area.”

Daniel was booked into Bossier Max Monday for three counts of identity theft, three counts of access device fraud, and two counts of fraudulent acquisition of a credit card. Total bond was set at $75,000.

The investigation is ongoing, Trooper Hardy added.
